Organic coffee: a more than natural coffee!

 
We are a leading Ethiopian Exporters Association to Europe, North America and Asia. We harvest only the best coffee beans from the most selective regions in Ethiopia.

Our coffee beans are fully organic and harvested with a 100% chemical free process. In this way, we can ensure we provide our customers the health benefits of the best washed coffee.
Our natural plantation in Jimma Limmu rich coffee growing region of Ethiopia is covered with shady trees and is free from any chemicals; the selectively hand-picked red cherries are collected by farmers who have specialized in coffee for generations.

Our traditional approach has been refined over the years:
  • We select the red cherries and avoid the ripe ones for a well prepared sun-dried coffee
  • The picked cherries are spread on beds and left to dry for 9 to 11 days with morning and afternoon sun at a moisture level between 11.5% and 12%.
  • The coffee is then washed and converted into pulp using a natural fermentation process over 72 hours to remove the mucilage.

Our coffee is verified to be 100% organic. This means that only traditional methods are used, with no use of chemicals to produce natural, pure and healthy coffee. Washed coffee No chemicals are used to wash the coffee. Our natural fermentation process removes the mucilage after 72 hours leaving the natural pulped coffee to dry in the sun. Coffee Grower & Exporter Company has been officially licensed under Ethiopian law and is engaged in the export of Ethiopian Green Arabica coffee worldwide. The company has healthy financial resources and has worked in domestic coffee trade for the last 50 years. Our owners are committed to exporting the best coffee and started successfully servicing international customers over the past 10 years.

Ibrahim Hussein Coffee Export'scompany has capable export traders including a Q licensed grader to handle export shipments in the most reliable and honest way. The company has also its own coffee plantation covering 200 hectares in the rich coffee growing Jimma region of Oromiya.

The Limmu Kosa area of the region, where the plantation is located grows the unique “Burka Gudina” coffee. The plantation has grown over the years and produces over 200 tons of sun dried coffee from the 400 tons washed every year. What we do

 
 
 
With the whole plantation covered with shed trees and free from any chemicals; the selectively hand-picked red cherries are collected. For a well prepared sun-dried coffee after selecting red cherries to avoid all unripe cherry over the ripe cherry and leaves to take care of the quality.

The picked cherries are spread on beds and left to dry for 9 to 11 days with morning and afternoon sun at the moisture level of 11.5% to 12%. The washed coffee is pulp on natural fermentation process which is used to remove the mucilage after 72 hours.
The pulped coffee is exposed to the sun, and after drying to the moisture of 11.5% to 12% it is stored in a dry warehouse without any contamination.

The company has also its own coffee plantation covering 200 hectares in oromia region jimma zone limu kosa woreda with specific name “burka gudina” where we produce top quality coffee with special preparation. It can have prepared up to 200 ton of sun dried and 400 tons of washed coffee including out growers.

For washed coffee after collecting the red cherry was pulping on natural fermentation process which is used to remove the mucilage after 72 hours the pulped coffee is left to the sun. After drying to the moisture of 11.5%-12%, it will be stored in dry warehouse without any contamination.
